\*There is only one man under a sentence of death in New Hampshire. New Hampshire abolished the death penalty in 2019 but it was not retroactive.

\*\*Nebraska does not designate a facility for women sentenced to death. There has never been a women sentenced to death in the state.

\*\*\*By the end of 2022, California dismantled it’s former death row housed at San Quentin State Prison and moved all death-sentenced prisoners to general prison populations across the state.
