SCOTT TUROW’S REVERSIBLE ERRORS DEBUTED THIS WEEKEND

A television mini-series based on the fiction novel Reversible Errors, a best-selling book by award- winning author and capital defense attorney Scott Turow, began on CBS on Sunday May 23, and will conclude Tuesday May 25, 2004. In the film, a corporate lawyer is assigned to draft the final appeal of a potentially innocent inmate whose execution is imminent. While Errors is not based upon an actual capital case, the story addresses many of the issues that raise questions about the accuracy and fairness of the death penalty, including false confessions, innocence, and race.
