On March 4, Akorn Pharmaceuticals, a man­u­fac­tur­er of two drugs (mida­zo­lam and pen­to­bar­bi­tal) that have been used in exe­cu­tions, released a state­ment announc­ing mea­sures to block the sale of its prod­ucts to pris­ons.
