The Death Penalty and the Myth of Closure

The notion that death sen­tences and exe­cu­tions pro­vide clo­sure to vic­tims’ fam­i­lies is a myth, says Susan A. Bandes, Centennial Distinguished Professor of Law Emeritus at DePaul University law school.
